I've stayed at the Met 3 times in the past 4 years, and will likely stay with you again in October. I'm writing to commend the staff at Zing, and especially manager Sameer Behl for their kind attention during my recent visit in May/June. Since being diagnosed with Celiac disease, I am unable to eat foods containing wheat. Sameer Behl, the waitstaff, and chef took extraordinary care to be certain the foods I ordered were OK for me to eat. A couple of times the chef even came out to discuss with me how he could modify a menu selection to suit my needs. Such care, concern, and responsibility for a guest's welfare are rare, I think, in a big city hotel, and I appreciate it very much. I also like being welcomed back to the Met by staff who remember me...like the head bell captain, and front desk staff. When I stay at the Met I feel I'm in a safe, comfortable place and among friends. You are doing an excellent job.
